I am a proud mother of two children. I am a member of the Professional Photographers of America and the Professional Photographers of North Carolina. I enjoy attending state conventions to further my business knowledge. I take my time to create beautiful, timeless portraits that one day will be a priceless treasure. I have been given a great opportunity and gift to capture the beauty and spirit of the people I photograph. I am thankful God gave me this gift.
Our Studio
We are country and friendly. Our home studio is warming and inviting. We take as much time as needed to capture the perfect portrait. No hurries and you receive our full attention. We invite you to sit back and rock in the rocking chairs while we get acquainted and share some warm chocolate chip cookies while gazing at the brushy mountains.
Directions
I-77 to exit 79, top of hill turn south on US 21. Go 1 mile South On US 21 & turn right on Rena Road. Go 1.7 miles turn left on Carrie Farm Dr. Go .1 miles where you see the sign and go to the top
Maternity
The wonder of Pregnancy can be captured in a timeless moment of love. We recommend the session being done between 7 & 8 months. We will still photograph if you are farther along.
Babe Collection
A Baby changes so much during the first year. Each phase of development is an opportunity to capture enduring and important milestones. The Babe Collection Series includes 5 sessions: newborn, 3, 6, 9 & 12 months. We also due monthly sessions if interested.
~ The Beginning - Newborn to 1 month ~
This is a great time to focus on all the little details - the hands, fingers, toes and the special bond between a newborn and parent. Mom and Dad should dress in long sleeve black shirts and Dark pants or jeans. Your baby can be bare, or in their diaper with a diaper cover.
~ The Innocence - 3 months ~
This is the time the baby starts to hold his/her head up. Appropriate clothing includes: diaper covers, bloomers, favorite blanket, solid-color outfit.
~ The Moment - 6 months ~
This is the time to highlight the little details of the face, hands, feet, ears, belly etc. Your child should be sitting independently for this session. Appropriate clothing includes: diaper covers, bloomers, or a simple solid-colored outfit.
~ The Discovery - 9 months ~
This is the time your baby discovers everything it sees, smells or touches. Appropriate clothing includes: diaper covers, bloomers, overalls, tulle skirts, simple solid-colored outfits and their favorite toy.
~ The Freedom - 1 year ~
What a great time to capture the essence of your baby's personality! Clothing ideas include: overalls, jeans, bare feet, tulle dresses, solid shirts and slip dresses.
Children
Children's photography is timeless and captures the essence and purity of children in breathtaking portraits that touch hearts. The Children's Club starts at 18 months - 5 years of age and you are welcome to join at anytime. Children 5 + are also welcome.
Family
Family portraits last for generations to come and don't forget the grandparents. Family images can take place indoors or outdoors. For indoor portraits we offer casual, traditional or B&W relationship portraits. Outdoor portraits may be taken at parks, vineyards, fields, Blue Ridge Parkway or your favorite place.
Engagement
Engagement portraits are the essence of a new life journey shared with that special person. The Engagement images will capture the love shared between two people. For indoor portraits we offer casual, traditional or B&W relationship portraits. Outdoor portraits can be taken at parks, vineyards, fields, Blue Ridge Parkway or your favorite place.
Bridal
Bridal portraits captures the little girl before she begins her own journey. For indoor portraits we offer traditional and classic backgrounds. Outdoor portraits can be taken at parks, vineyards, fields, Blue Ridge Parkway or your favorite place.
Sports
Sports photography captures your child in action as they make that important move. Action images are taken of your child or team the day of the game.
Pets
Pet photography captures the unconditional love your pet(s) has to offer. Pet images can be done indoors or outdoors. Outdoor portraits can be taken at their favorite place.
Seniors
Senior portraits are a special time to capture your child before their wings begin to fly. Please don't settle for cookie-cutter poses that don't capture the young spirit at this important milestone. We start with a blank canvas and the Senior becomes the piece of art as they design it to resemble who they are. We offer a variety of locations, styles, props, background and sessions.
